In partnership with our National Director of Clinical Operations and senior leadership, you will help shape strategic initiatives, ensure compliance, and support regional teams in driving clinical quality and member-centered care. This is a role that combines passion for making a difference with the leadership needed to guide teams, set standards, and elevate care across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical teams by developing best practices and directing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the performance of clinical, quality, and compliance metrics to exceed benchmarks.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and managed care contractual terms.
  • Provide clinical oversight to day-to-day operations focused on clinical excellence, risk management, staff training, education, and performance.
  • Effectively lead and implement the internal audit plan; conduct compliance audits, create reports, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Design quality improvement systems and procedures to achieve deficiency-free audits.
  • Develop and conduct training throughout the region to improve and maintain clinical competencies for center staff
  • Monitor marketplace and environmental regulatory conditions to ensure operations teams remain informed of emerging issues and trends which affect service delivery.
  • Participate in hiring processes to ensure necessary clinical expertise for population management throughout centers and regions.
  • Lead and support clinical strategy for crucial growth activities, including acquisitions, new centers, and center relocations. Serve as clinical SME for due diligence and integration to help leaders and the center teams.
  • Build positive relationships with external business partners and industry leaders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; BSN or related field preferred.
  • Current, active RN license required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years clinical experience with five (5) years of experience managing and implementing a quality improvement program preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in community based health care setting in a similar role at a medium to large sized, multi-site organization preferred.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory affairs.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of high quality clinical practices.
  • Experience developing and facilitating training; well versed in principles of adult learning.
  • Strong technology skills, including delivery of training through multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; adept at learning new software programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
  • High impact communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Self starter; able to prioritize, meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across functions
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and implement solutions collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% throughout your assigned region
