As the Regulatory and Compliance Auditor, you will play a key role in driving quality, compliance and training activities within all regions.

 

You will be responsible for conducting compliance audits by reviewing operational systems, processes, procedures and workflow related to member care, CACFP program, contracts and ensuring we comply with all local, state and/or federal regulations, payer requirements as well as company policies and procedures. As the Regulatory and Compliance Auditor, you will provide proactive guidance through regular oversight and training; ensuring all employees are well informed in order to remain compliant with local, state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Audits each regions processes, procedures and workflow related to member care, CACFP, contracts and onboarding.
  • Reviews and analyzes audit data to create reports and identify discrepancies, risks and any other potential (or actual) problems.
  • Develops corrective action plans and recommends improvement plans to remedy audit deficiencies.
  • Partners with leadership to implement process improvement plans and corrective action plans with a focus on achieving deficiency free audits.
  • Evaluates Region and Center compliance with required improvement plans or corrective action plans
  • Conducts efficiency analysis on processes, procedures and workflow related to member care and onboarding
  • Promotes and educates the benefits of adopting control measures required to achieve deficiency-free audits
  • Educates stakeholders and other responsible parties about the importance of adopting changes required to correct any problems and/or noncompliance as well as improving and maintaining competencies

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience in a health services or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience or equivalent experience in clinical setting managing and implementing a compliance program preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in community based health care setting in a similar role at a medium to large sized, multi-site organization preferred.
  • Excellent Auditing and organizational skills
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) skills required and experience with Electronic Health Record (“E.H.R.”) systems preferred.  Must be adept at - and eager to learning new software programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
