Active Day has a GREAT opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical Staff Accountant who has a strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Staff Accountant | Hybrid | Trevose, PA  | up to $60,000 based on experience.

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the company’s financial integrity while working directly with the CFO and under the guidance of our Accounting Manager. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities for our Staff Accountants include but are not limited to:

 

  • Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation, posting, and documentation
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assist with P&L and staffing variance analysis during month-end close
  • Support budgeting efforts and financial audits/tax preparation
  • Contribute to acquisition-related financial diligence and integration tasks
  • Prepare special reports and complete ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Assist in preparing and filing property tax returns

 

Qualifications

Qualifications for our Staff Accountants include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; other MS Office tools a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Prior experience with multi-location accounting is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plus
